4. The Assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand – In 1914, Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria was assassinated by a Serbian nationalist. The assassination led to a chain of events that ultimately led to the outbreak of World War I, one of the deadliest conflicts in human history.
5. The Battle of Chibi – In 208 AD, Chinese general Cao Cao led a massive army of over 200,000 soldiers to attack his rival Liu Bei. However, Liu Bei and his ally, Sun Quan, managed to defeat Cao Cao’s army with just 50,000 soldiers. The battle is considered to be one of the most decisive in Chinese history and led to the establishment of the Three Kingdoms period.
These unusual historical events may not be as well-known as some of the other events that have shaped our world, but they have had a significant impact nonetheless.
